Is this a backlit (lightbox) menu board?
No. A backlit or LED lightbox menu board is a printed flex or acrylic sheet with a light behind it — to change one price you reprint the whole sheet, and it can only show what was printed. A SOIL digital menu board is an LCD screen: the menu is digital, you edit it from your phone, it switches by time of day and it plays video of your dishes. We don't manufacture printed backlit boards, so if that is what you need, this page isn't for you.
Which screen size is best for a restaurant menu board?
43 inches is India's most popular menu-board size — readable from the queue at a typical counter distance of 3–5 metres. Use 32-inch for tight spaces or single-item menus, and two or three 43/50-inch screens side by side for full QSR menus with combos and photos.
Can I use a normal TV as a menu board?
You can, but restaurant duty kills consumer TVs: 12–16 hours daily voids most TV warranties, kitchen heat and grease stress the panel, and there's no remote menu management — someone updates prices with a pen drive. Commercial menu displays run continuously, mount in portrait or landscape, and let you change the menu from a phone.
